Pack Their First Night Bag

Entering foster care can be overwhelming and frightening for a child, especially when they arrive at a new placement with little or none of their own belongings. Ryatt’s Wings First Night Bags are designed to provide comfort, dignity, and essential items during those first uncertain hours.

Each age-appropriate backpack is filled with necessities such as a change of clothes, pajamas, underwear, socks, toiletries, a toothbrush, a blanket, and comfort items. Bags may also include stuffed animals, coloring supplies, journals, toys, pacifiers, or teething items depending on the child’s age.

Our goal is simple: no child should enter foster care empty-handed. A First Night Bag gives them something that belongs to them while reminding them that they are seen, cared for, and not alone.
